When you visit Turkey, you can go through a normal day without talking to anyone. However, communicating in dangerous situations is more important than everyday conversations.

For those learning Turkish, we will first teach warning signs indicating danger and asking for help. Today’s topic is the usage of the words DANGEROUS (TEHLİKELİ) and FORBIDDEN (YASAK).

Entering the irrigation canal and pond is dangerous and forbidden.
Sulama kanalı ve gölete girmek tehlikeli ve yasaktır.

Risk of death.
Ölüm tehlikesi.

Touching is dangerous and forbidden.;
Dokunmak tehlikeli ve yasaktır.

Smoking is forbidden.
Sigara içmek yasaktır.

Parking is forbidden.
Park etmek yasaktır.

Climbing on it is dangerous.
Üzerine çıkmak tehlikelidir.

Danger.
